Aviation Calculators is offered free of charge, with no warranty of any kind. No guarantee is given that the site will be available, that it will be free of errors, or that any particular result is correct or fit for any purpose.
Considerable care goes into the calculations, and the methodology page sets out how each one is checked. That care is not a warranty, and errors are possible.
Not for operational use
The calculators are educational and planning aids. They are not approved data, they are not certified for any operational purpose, and they do not replace current official weather, your aircraft flight manual, or the rules that apply to your flight. The aviation disclaimer covers this in full and forms part of these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage of any kind arising from use of this site or reliance on anything it produces. You remain solely responsible for every decision you make, in the air and on the ground.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your responsibilities
- Check any result that matters against an independent source before acting on it.
- Use figures from your own aircraft flight manual where a calculator asks for them, rather than guessing.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site or use it in a way that interferes with others.
Content and copyright
The text, explanations, calculation code and design of this site belong to its operator. You are welcome to use the calculators, to link to any page, and to quote short passages with a link back. Republishing pages wholesale, or copying the explanations onto another site, is not permitted.
Material published by aviation authorities and other bodies that is linked from this site remains theirs, under their own terms.
